How can I help?

I provide spirit/life mentoring, free of charge — what does that mean? It means I get to know you, listen deeply and gently to you, and help guide you back toward the wholeness and power that already exists within you (you just feel disconnected from it).

I help you examine the questions and challenges that war creates and help you find different perspectives. But most of all, I will be there. Present. To embrace and help carry the weight you bear inside your heart. And to believe in your ability to create a new sense of meaning and wholeness even when you cannot believe in it.

Please reach out. There is nothing but love and acceptance for you here.

  1. Thank you, Susan, for sharing this. And for your faith and courage in walking this path of sacrifice with your husband.

  2. “50FIRSTDATES 2004-Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore, Dan Akroyd ” – my take away was with patience, love, and support from family & friends who “get it”, anything is possible! I continue to have faith, to believe. I have never had any support from family or friends that “get it”. My husband is a Veteran of Iraq 2006-2007, 100% disabled, PTSD/TBI, among a myriad of other injuries. We married in 2001, he enlisted in 2005, went to training for 6 months, got home, 6 months later was deployed with 10 days notice he was leaving right before Thanksgiving 2006. I noticed that when he returned from Basic he was different, but nothing for what I was in for after he returned from War…from Baghdad… being blown up 6 times… 5 concussions in 4 months… a broken back…his barracks blown up…being trapped in his humvee… that is not the worst of it.

  3. You are so welcome, and I have many LEOs who resonate with this. You are not alone. Please feel free to connect via email at brittareque@gmail.com and let others know that they are welcome to connect as well. Your presence matters, far more than you realize.

  4. I am not retired military but retired Law Enforcement of 34 years…this strikes home for me and not knowing whether I can go on, remain here in a world that has no use for me. Sorry to invade this space but I also work with veterans as I have a therapy dog and visit them weekly at the wounded warrior battalion. We talk about this and the what is out there for me now…thank-you for being here for them!

  5. Hi, Michelle. It sounds like you’re “on overload” with problems right now. We all need help at such times. My name is, Ro Donovan. If you would like to reach out. I am here: rz4rogo@gmail.com

None of us can do this alone. It takes great strength to reach out.

  7. Thank you for making and sharing this powerful, insightful video. Please thank Octavio for me as well. It is so important to express what is carried inside, and allow others to help shoulder the weight of war. Blessings of healing to you and please be in touch.
